Apart from sharing the tastiest flatbread out there, we also want to engage with the community, little by little. We, as a food brand, are aware that food waste is a big problem in the food and retail industry. According to a report from The Grocer, supermarkets throw away 100,00 of edible food annually, in the United Kingdom alone. It is also estimated that the UK’s total food waste could feed upwards of 30 million people a year. As a result, we want to play a part in helping reduce food waste, and that is why we are committed to distribute all unsold food to local charities and food banks, to reduce waste and spread joy, one flatbread at a time.
